Yukiguni Shoten” opens at CoCoLo Niigata on May 29! (Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture)

There is also a corner where you can drink local sake on the spot!

Yukiguni Shoten, which sells local sake and specialty products from the Joetsu and Myoko regions of Niigata Prefecture, will open in the newly opened “CoCoLo Niigata” in the space under the elevated railway tracks of JR Niigata Station on Wednesday, May 29.

Yukiguni Shoten was opened by JCV Joetsu Cable Vision in September 2020 at the Kotsu Kaikan in Yurakucho, Tokyo, as a place to sell specialty and processed products from the Joetsu, Myoko, and Sado regions.

The newly opened CoCoLo Niigata store offers a wide selection of local sake and snacks from Joetsu, Myoko, and Sado regions. In addition to selling products, the store aims to provide a sense of “another Niigata” by offering a corner where customers can drink locally brewed sake recommended by the staff. In addition to sake and snacks, the store will also sell soft-serve ice cream shipped directly from Sado Island, which is very popular at the Kotsu Kaikan store.

The CoCoLo Niigata store will open at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 29.

Through Yukiguni Shoten, JCV will communicate the charms of Niigata, including Joetsu, Myoko, and Sado, and convey the thoughts of local businesses to customers, as well as support the creation of better products by bringing customer feedback to the makers of such products.

In addition, Yukiguni Shoten is scheduled to open on July 31 at KITTE Osaka, a commercial facility that will open in “JP Tower Osaka” directly connected to JR Osaka Station.
