Cheers again with splashes!

The Umigatari City Municipal Aquarium in Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture, resumed the dolphin performance, which had been suspended for measures against new coronavirus infections, from June 22. The audience waiting for this day was cheering at the jumps and splashes of dolphins.

Dolphin performance that has been restarted for the first time in about two months The program is a virus infection countermeasure, and normally 15 minutes is shortened to 10 minutes. We also limit the number of admissions per person from 450 to half, 200. Even though it was a weekday on the first day of restart, many people from inside and outside the prefecture visited to see the dolphins at a glance.

At Umigatari, we take measures to prevent infections, such as taking temperature measurements at the entrance and disinfecting our hands, and we are always calling for masks. Please check our website for upcoming programs and events.
