Based in the 100-year-old restaurant “Ukiyo” in Nakamachi, Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture, the “100-year-old restaurant Ukiyo-based local production, discovery, and experience tour” will begin in mid-May, where you can taste restaurant dishes and tour cultural attractions in Joetsu City.

This tour was planned by “Land Staff Tourism Business Development Office Co., Ltd.” to let people inside and outside the region know about Joetsu’s various specialties, cultural attractions, and hot new spots.Six new courses have been added to the previously announced 6 courses, and we are recruiting participants for all 12 courses.

The dates of the added 6 courses are as follows.

* All courses will be set up at the 100-year-old restaurant “Ukiyo” at 11:00 am / dissolved from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

■ Course content & schedule

Honzan Jokoji Temple: To the largest Shinshu main hall and Shinran saint’s main hall in Niigata prefecture

Ukiyo — Jokoji Temple (explanation at the main hall of a national important cultural property, tour of the main hall of Shinran saints and treasures) — Ukiyo or Takada station square

Departure dates: June 4th (Friday), June 27th (Sunday), July 23rd (Friday / holiday)
Price: 12,600 yen (tax included with special lunch at the restaurant)

Kokei Kobayashi’s art appreciation and Japanese painting experience with “Kanrenkai”

Departure dates: June 12th (Sat), June 19th (Sat), June 27th (Sun)
Price: 13,800 yen (tax included with special lunch at the restaurant) * 300 yen discount for elementary school students and younger

 

All courses will meet at the 100-year-old restaurant “Ukiyo”, tour the building of a nationally registered tangible cultural property, and enjoy a special lunch at the restaurant.
