Located about 7 minutes from the Shiozawa-Ishiuchi Interchange on the Kan-Etsu Expressway, the Joetsu Kokusai Ski Resort offers panoramic views of Minamiuonuma City, Niigata Prefecture.

The most notable feature is the vastness of the slopes, divided into four distinct zones, along with an extensive variety of 22 courses catering to all skill levels from beginners to experts (30% beginner, 50% intermediate, 20% advanced).
The Mother’s Zone, which spreads out in front of Hotel Greer Plaza Joetsu, the symbol of Joetsu Kokusai Ski Resort, is recommended for beginners and families.
Kids Paradise, Sori Land, and SpongeBob Kids Park spread across the slopes in front of the hotel, allowing even young children to enjoy snow play with peace of mind. The Snow Park, featuring halfpipes and kickers for everyone from beginners to advanced riders, is also popular.
The north side features the Panorama Zone, an intermediate-level area offering varied, undulating terrain. The south side boasts the Active Zone, equipped with challenging courses for confident advanced skiers.
The Forest Zone is the most remote slope within the ski resort, located on the Tōma side of Tokamachi City. Nestled within a beech forest, it offers an area where you can enjoy relaxed skiing.
You can access all zones via lift, and it might be fun to conquer the entire area as if you were on a tour.
Joetsu Kokusai Ski Resort offers night skiing daily from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Purchasing a “1-Day Pass +” allows you to ski during night sessions without worrying about the time. Enjoy the magical atmosphere of the slopes and the unique snow conditions that differ from daytime skiing.

Freshly Baked Mochi in Sweet Red Bean Soup ¥730 (tax included)
The Panorama Zone features the Oshiruko Chaya, which serves its famous sweet red bean soup along with curry and udon noodles.
