Focusing on camps that have become increasingly popular in recent years, we are doing our best to publicize the campgrounds that are open in the Joetsu area (Joetsu City, Myoko City, Itoigawa City).  Not only detailed information on each campground, but also spots recommended by the editorial department will be posted. 　It’s good to have fun with your family, or to enjoy your time as a solo camper. 　Why don’t you go out to play in the great outdoors?

【Open April 27-November 17, 2024】Campground in an outdoor complex on the banks of Imori Pond.

It takes about 5 minutes by car from the Myoko-Kogen Interchange on the Joetsu Shinetsu Expressway via Prefectural Route 187.
IMORI CAMPSITE ~Imori no Mori~, a facility for recreation and relaxation where visitors can enjoy outdoor activities, opened last year on the banks of Imori Pond, a national park rich in nature.

Centered around Bashoen, a soba noodle restaurant, there are camp sites, an RV park, a cafe and bar, an event plaza, a sauna, and a hot spring.

There are 3-4 campsites with different compartment sizes: large (100 square meters), medium (64 square meters), and small (40 square meters).

From any of the sites, you can enjoy a relaxing camping experience with a view of Imori Pond, Mt.
Another attraction is the variety of flowers and wild birds that can be seen. More than 100,000 Mizubasho (Asian skunk-cabbage) plants bloom in late April each year, and from mid-October, visitors can enjoy the autumn colors of the leaves.
Day camping is also available here.

In addition, the RV park has space for seven vehicles, with each lot measuring 4 meters by 7 meters.

In addition, the triangular-roofed “Soba Restaurant Bashoan” in the center of the facility offers handmade soba and udon noodles, as well as sandwiches and other light meals, and cakes and other sweets.

The terrace offers popular thick soft ice cream and shaved ice.
