Editor’s recommendation Stopover spot

About a six-minute drive from Imori Pond is Naena Falls, which spans the Sekigawa River flowing through Suginosawa, Myoko City, on the border of Niigata and Nagano Prefectures.
It is one of the 100 best waterfalls in Japan, and the spray and roar created by the 55-meter drop will shake your whole body.
It is also known as “Earthquake Falls.
The scenery of this enchanting waterfall changes with the seasons, but the editorial staff recommends spring with its fresh green foliage and fall with its autumn leaves woven into brocade.

A large parking lot is available at the Nana Falls. From there, visitors can enjoy a 15-minute trek through the wilderness to reach the waterfall.
Yes, there is a store at the entrance of the promenade that is known for its delicious Nagashi Somen and a café popular for its thick soft-serve ice cream, so please stop by.
