Focusing on camps that have become increasingly popular in recent years, we are doing our best to publicize the campgrounds that are open in the Joetsu area (Joetsu City, Myoko City, Itoigawa City). 　Not only detailed information on each campground, but also spots recommended by the editorial department will be posted. 　It’s good to have fun with your family, or to enjoy your time as a solo camper. 　Why don’t you go out to play in the great outdoors?

【Open April 1 – November 30】Roadside station and convenience store are within walking distance!

The Arasaki Campground is located adjacent to “Marine Dream Nou”, a roadside station in Nou, Itoigawa City.

From the parking lot of Marine Dream Nou, cross the overpass over National Highway No. 8 and drive for about 300 meters on the private road to reach the campground.

The campground has tent sites on both sides of the stream.

There are 25 tent sites in total.  To camp, you need to make an online reservation from the website.  On the day of use, the reception will be at Marine Dream Nou, and at that time, you can choose your favorite section from the vacant lots.  You can also see the Sea of Japan from the site near the entrance.

The ground of the tent site is grass.

Cooking building

The campground is fully equipped with a toilet, a cooking building, a garbage collection area, and an administration building.  There is also a hot shower that can be used for 100 yen for 5 minutes.

The campground is adjacent to the roadside station Marine Dream Nou. The roadside station offers a restaurant,  convenience store (6: 00-21: 00), and a place where you can buy fresh seafood.  There is also an athletic plaza on the premises, so there is no problem with finding places for your children to play.

Asahirou

“Asahirou” is a hidden gem of a ramen shop in Nou.  There are only two types of menu, “Ramen” (800 yen, tax included) and “Char-siu pork Ramen” (1050 yen, tax included).   It is a popular restaurant with many fans because of its mellow and rich taste.
