The Cupid of Romance Snow Resort is located 15 minutes by car from Iiyama Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen and 20 minutes by car from the Toyoda-Iiyama Interchange on the Joetsu-Shinetsu Expressway.Previously operating as “Kijimadaira Ski Resort,” the facility changed its name to its current designation starting with the 2023 winter season following the conclusion of a naming rights agreement for singer Kohmi Hirose’s song “Romance no Kamisama.”

Spanning the northern slope of Mount Kosha at an elevation of 1,351 meters, this resort boasts excellent snow quality and expansive, open slopes. Courses cater to a wide range of skill levels, from beginners to advanced skiers and snowboarders (40% beginner, 50% intermediate, 10% advanced).
This ski area features some of Japan’s widest slopes, offering plenty of beginner-friendly and family-friendly courses for worry-free enjoyment. With a maximum width of 250 meters, the courses are quite spacious, allowing for big turns.
Meanwhile, the advanced “Pioneer Course” boasts Japan’s steepest slope at 46 degrees, offering a steep descent akin to sliding down a mountain peak. This innovative course delivers the sensation of plunging nearly vertically down a pristine powder slope.
The beginner-friendly family course features the largest sledding hill in eastern Japan at 800 meters, plus a Kids Park packed with a bouncy dome and plenty of snow play gear. The Snow Park (AI Course), equipped with 15 to 20 features, is also widely enjoyed by visitors.
