1.Features of the slopes and courses

Located southeast of Mt. Myoko, the Ikenotaira Onsen Alpenbrick Ski Resort is just a 5-minute drive from the Myoko Kogen Interchange.

The greatest feature is its top-class wide slopes that make the most of the majestic foothills of Mt. Myoko, allowing a wide range of skiers to enjoy safe and comfortable skiing.

The ski area features 5 lifts and 16 courses. Its wide, gentle slopes minimize accidents during skiing, with most courses catering to beginners and intermediate skiers (50% beginner, 40% intermediate, 10% advanced). It also offers non-groomed areas, a hike-up area (backcountry), and a snow park, allowing for a variety of ways to enjoy the slopes.

One of its charms is the 4-kilometer cruising experience, gliding down a medium-sloped run brimming with speed before transitioning to a gentle, forested slope that retains a sense of tranquility. With Mount Myōkō as a backdrop and views of Lake Nojiri, the open atmosphere refreshes both body and mind.

Except for courses designed for advanced skiers, everyone from young children to seniors can enjoy safe and comfortable skiing.

Additionally, the resort features the “Alpenbrick Snow Park,” designed for beginners and intermediate riders to enjoy with confidence. Centered around boxes and rails, it offers a variety of features suitable for riders of all skill levels.

Below the base of the first pair lift lies the Kids Garden, a safe and secure area enclosed by netting on all sides. A moving belt is installed for easy transport to the top, and free sledding is also available. The Kids Garden is open only on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
