Akakura Kanko Resort & Spa in Myoko City, Niigata Prefecture, will operate its “Night Gondola” service—a special evening run of the Myoko Kogen Sky Cable gondola lift—a total of six times from Saturday, August 30 to Sunday, October 12.
At the Sky Terrace summit near 1,300 meters above sea level, temperatures drop below 20 degrees Celsius. Amidst a coolness that feels like another world compared to daytime, you can enjoy a sky filled with countless stars spread across the night sky.
In conjunction with nighttime operations, the cafe restaurant at the summit station will be open simultaneously, and the water terrace featuring spring water from Mt. Myoko will be illuminated.
