The ski resort spreads out right in front of the lodging facility “Kyukamura Myoko” in Sekiyama, Myoko City, Niigata Prefecture.
This beginner-friendly slope features wide, gentle inclines, making it especially recommended for families with children and those just starting to ski. It’s less crowded, allowing you to enjoy a more private feel.
The slope is 900 meters long with a maximum gradient of 16 degrees and an average gentle incline of 10 degrees, making it safe and enjoyable for everyone. Preschoolers ride the lift for free.
Ski and snowboard rentals, along with clothing rentals, are available, so you can come empty-handed. In the safe activity area, they’ll help your child make their slope debut using tubing and sleds.
At Run Run Kids Park, which opened in front of the Holiday Village in 2022, children can safely make their debut on the slopes. It’s also a great spot for taking pictures.
The facility is open on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and during the year-end and New Year holidays. Children’s admission is ¥500 per day, and accompanying adults may use the facility free of charge.
