1.Features of the slopes and courses
Located just a 3-minute drive from Matsudai Station on the Hokuhoku Line, this is a ski resort operated by Tokamachi City. Though a small ski area, it features two lifts and three courses, along with a Kids Park, a well-equipped Snow Park, and night skiing operations.
The course features three trails suitable for everyone from beginners to advanced skiers (50% beginner, 30% intermediate, 20% advanced). The maximum slope angle is 24 degrees, and the longest run is 800 meters.

The gentle slopes of the “Forest Course” are recommended for beginners and families with children. The intermediate course features wide, north-facing slopes, making it ideal for honing your technique or practicing.
Upon exiting the summit station of the second lift at the very top, you’ll find dynamic advanced courses where you can ski while enjoying panoramic views of the great outdoors. The powder snow is light and fluffy, offering excellent snow conditions that delight not only skiers but snowboarders as well.
From Monday, January 5, 2026, through Saturday, March 28, 2026, we will also be operating night sessions. The intermediate courses used for night sessions undergo thorough maintenance in the morning and evening, ensuring they remain in excellent condition.
Additionally, the resort features a dedicated children’s area called “Kids Park” where children can play safely, as well as a “Snowboard Mountain (Park)” equipped with two tabletop jumps of varying sizes, rails, boxes, and other features. This makes it a popular slope that caters to a wide range of needs.
Additionally, near the ski resort, there are several facilities offering day-trip bathing options, such as Matsudai Shibatoge Onsen Unkai and the Matsunoyama Onsen town. You can wash off the sweat after skiing or soothe your tired body.
