This ski resort, owned by a resort facility, is conveniently located just a 7-minute drive from the Joshinetsu Expressway’s “Arai Smart IC.”

The slopes are vast, with 80% of the skiable area consisting of unpacked powder snow, making it renowned as a mecca for powder enthusiasts.

The highest elevation within the ski area is 1,280 meters. The longest run is 7 kilometers, and the resort offers 14 varied courses ranging from beginner to expert levels (Beginner: 36%, Intermediate: 36%, Advanced: 21%, Expert: 7%).

The unpacked freeride zone, boasting overwhelming snowfall and one of Japan’s largest scales, features a total of 10 areas (Intermediate 20%, Advanced 60%, Expert 20%). *Some courses may be closed depending on the season, such as early spring.

We also offer a wide range of activities beyond skiing and snowboarding. Experience the exhilarating thrill of sliding down a 190-meter course in “Snow Tubing,” ride a Strider bike across the snow in the “Strider Park,” explore the world of SpongeBob SquarePants in the wildly popular “SpongeBob Kids Park,” try snow rafting, zip-lining, and building snow huts, or enjoy indoor fun at the “Playground.”

At Ookenashi Mountain, surrounded by nature and boasting a magnificent location where you can see all the way to the sea on clear days, you can enjoy the best moments you won’t find anywhere else.
