The “Yama-no-ue Midsummer Snow Festival,” an event using natural snow in midsummer, will be held on Saturday, August 27 at Cupid Valley in Yasuzuka, Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture, for the first time in three years.
The Midsummer Snow Festival is an event to enjoy cool weather using snow stored in Cupid Valley’s snow chambers. 300 tons of snow is used for various projects.
