It is surrounded by ponds on all sides. \u00a0The ground is grass, and it\u2019s perfect for high-end camping and it is also a good photo spot. \u00a0The holiday season is often lot<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\r\n<h3>Campsite No. 4 (500 meters from the parking lot)<\/h3>\r\n<p>Campsite No. 4 is for advanced campers and is a little far from the parking lot. \u00a0Go past the administration building, cross the \u201cDeai Bridge\u201d, and if you go a little along the mountain road, the first place you will see is the kitchen. \u00a0If you go further, you will find the campsite on your left. \u00a0Surrounded by forest, the site is characterized by its terraced fields. \u00a0The space is not large, but it has a rustic atmosphere surrounded by forests where you can constantly hear the birds singing.\u00a0 The toilet is about 100 meters away from the kitchen.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a \/><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p>Use of each campsite is basically free of charge, but since April 2023, a voluntary cooperation fee of 1,000 yen per tent has been requested. To use the campgrounds, you must stop by the Visitor Center and register before or after your stay. The center is closed on Mondays, so if you plan to use the campground on Monday, please stop by the next day.<\/p>\r\n<p>The Visitor Center sells firewood (800 yen), and original stickers (2 types \/ 300 yen each). There are also beverage vending machines and freshly ground coffee for sale inside the facility.<\/p>\r\n<p>In addition, showers installed in the building have been available since April 2023 (200 yen per shower\/advance reservation required).<\/p>\r\n<p>The Ooike Ikoinomori Campground offers a discount on bathing fees at nearby hot spring facilities as a benefit for visitors. The discounts are available at Nagamine Onsen Yuri-no-Sato (Nagamine, Yoshikawa-ku) and Unohama Ningyokan (Kudohama, Oogata-ku).
