Charmant Hiuchi Ski Resort in Itoigawa City, Niigata Prefecture, is about a 30-minute drive from the Hokuriku Expressway’s Oku Interchange. Located on a north-facing slope overlooking the Sea of Japan, it is also known as a heavy snowfall ski resort. 65% of its skiable area is ungroomed, and during peak season, its superb powder snow attracts many skiers.<\/p>\r\n

With a glide distance of 1,623 meters and an average slope of 8 degrees, it’s a course beginners can enjoy all the way from the summit. This medium-slope course features a wide, well-groomed surface, making it ideal for stepping up your skills or getting back into the swing of things.<\/p>\r\n
