Akakura Village Square, which opened in July, features benches offering panoramic views of Lake Nojiri and Mt. Artists have always visited the Akakura area. We redeveloped the area with the keywords \u2018art\u2019 and \u2018arts\u2019 to see if we could draw them in.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/joetsu.yukiguni.town\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Still0918_00005-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-297850\" src=\"https:\/\/joetsu.yukiguni.town\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Still0918_00005-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" data-low-src=\"https:\/\/joetsu.yukiguni.town\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Still0918_00005-2-400x225.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p>Akakura Village Square is a development project that R&amp;M Resort, operator of Akakura Kanko Resort &amp; Spa and other properties, has been advancing for the past three years around the Myoko Sky Cable area. Including the replacement of the gondola, the total renovation cost amounts to approximately 1.8 billion yen. The concept centers on enjoying culture and the arts within nature.<\/p>\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/joetsu.yukiguni.town\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Still0918_00002-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-297847\" src=\"https:\/\/joetsu.yukiguni.town\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Still0918_00002-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"802\" height=\"451\" data-low-src=\"https:\/\/joetsu.yukiguni.town\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Still0918_00002-2-400x225.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p>The spacious multipurpose hall, filled with a sense of liberation, was renovated from a lift station that fell into disuse about 20 years ago. It can accommodate up to 130 people and is used as a venue for concerts and workshops.<\/p>\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/joetsu.yukiguni.town\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Still0918_00008.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-297853\" src=\"https:\/\/joetsu.yukiguni.town\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Still0918_00008.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"802\" height=\"451\" data-low-src=\"https:\/\/joetsu.yukiguni.town\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Still0918_00008-400x225.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p>At the Sky Terrace &amp; Garden caf\u00e9, located just near the gondola&#8217;s final stop, you can enjoy cold brew coffee made with spring water from Mt. My\u014dk\u014d and donuts supervised by the pastry chef of the Akakura Kanko Hotel.<\/p>\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/joetsu.yukiguni.town\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Still0918_00009.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-297854\" src=\"https:\/\/joetsu.yukiguni.town\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Still0918_00009.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" data-low-src=\"https:\/\/joetsu.yukiguni.town\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Still0918_00009-400x225.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p>Additionally, a massive panel measuring approximately 16 meters wide was displayed in the gondola departure point, the \u201cFront Lounge,\u201d showcasing the history of Akakura Onsen and sightseeing in Myoko.
