\u3010Open April 29 – early November\u3011The upside-down Mt. Amakazari reflected on the surface of the lake is a spectacular sight.<\/h2>\r\n

Approximately 30 minutes by car from the Itoigawa IC of the Hokuriku Expressway. The campground is located at the foot of Mt. Amakazari in the southern part of Itoigawa City, an area where you can enjoy the experience of getting close to the forest, playing with the forest, and creating the forest in the great outdoors, while protecting the rich nature that surrounds Shiroike.<\/p>\r\n

Shiroike Pond is a spectacular spot with views of Mt. Amakazari, Mt. Komagadake, Mt. Onigatsura, and Nokogiridake.Nearby Mt. Tokura (975 m above sea level) is a recommended spot for easy hiking and offers a 360-degree panoramic view.<\/p>\r\n

There are a variety of routes such as a walk around Shiroike Pond, a walk along the old road of \u201cRoad of Salt\u201d, a route to a cluster of skunk cabbages, and a climbing route to Mt. Tokura.The appeal of this area is that it can be enjoyed from casual hiking to full-scale mountain climbing.<\/p>\r\n

There are 15 tent sites and one cooking area and toilet. The appeal of the park is that it can be enjoyed for everything from casual hiking to full-scale mountaineering.There are areas with lots of trees, and you can set up where you prefer. A caretaker is available on an irregular basis, but there is no store or cafeteria. There are two other rest areas in the vicinity.<\/p>\r\n

In summer, the clear water of Shiroike Pond is a beautiful mix of the blue of the sky and the blue of the sea, and in the season of autumn leaves, the pond is covered in golden colors.The autumn leaves reflected in the water mirror are also magnificent.<\/p>\r\n
