Due to the late thawing of the snow this year, the best time to view the flowers is about two weeks later than usual, just in time for the Golden Week holidays.<\/p>\r\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-281719 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/joetsu.yukiguni.town\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Still0501_00003-4-716x403.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" data-low-src=\"https:\/\/joetsu.yukiguni.town\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Still0501_00003-4-400x225.jpg\" \/><\/p>\r\n<p>Mizubasho is a perennial plant of the taro family found in wetlands, and is also called \u201cspring fairy\u201d because it appears as the snow melts.
