The 7th Neko Fest @ Joetsu, a popular event that attracts many cat lovers every year, will be held at the Joetsu Civic Plaza in Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture, on April 19 (Sat) and 20 (Sun).<\/p>\r\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\r\n

The event was planned to create a place for cat lovers living in Joetsu City and the surrounding area to interact with each other and expand the circle of cat lovers. The venue is filled with handmade goods, products, and services featuring cats, as well as products and services for cats. Last year, more than 80 booths were set up and more than 2,000 visitors enjoyed the event.<\/p>\r\n

This year’s event, the seventh of its kind, will feature more than 100 booths, more than last year. In addition to selling goods featuring \u201cShishamo Neko,\u201d a popular healing character with a feline motif, there will be a demonstration of making \u201cnekotsugura,\u201d a bed for cats made from woven rice straw and paper strings. As in previous years, full-fledged cosplayers wearing ears and tails will liven up the event as the \u201cNeko Fest @ Joetsu Moriage-tai\u201d (Cat Fest @ Joetsu).<\/p>\r\n

Once again, the \u201c4th Shippo Fest @ Joetsu\u201d will be held at the same time, featuring not only cats but also dogs, rabbits, birds, hamsters, fish, and other goods.<\/p>\r\n

In addition, two collaborative events will be held simultaneously. Teddy Bear Family, an event for craft goods and handicrafts centering on teddy bears, and Blissful Marche, an event for beauty, health, and healing. Please enjoy these events together as well.<\/p>\r\n
