They are about 15 cm tall and are also called \u201cspring fairies\u201d for their dainty appearance.<\/p>\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Still0403_00004-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-278843\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Still0403_00004-2-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"Still0403_00004\" width=\"798\" height=\"449\" data-low-src=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Still0403_00004-2-400x225.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p>The flowers bloom in and around the ruins of Kasuga-yama Castle every year at this time, and city employees found them blooming on the 27th of last month.
