All the donated dolls are displayed at the Eshin-no-sato Memorial Hall (15 sets) and at the Itakura-tei Soba Restaurant (5 sets).<\/p>\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Still0131_00003-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-273627\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Still0131_00003-2-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"Still0131_00003\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" data-low-src=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Still0131_00003-2-400x225.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p>The dolls were made from the early to late Showa period, and the expressions and materials used differ with each period.<\/p>\r\n<p>Most dolls from the 40s to 50s of the Showa period have plump, rounded faces and are similar in design to today&#8217;s hina dolls. They are made of resin.<\/p>\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Still0131_00004-3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-273628\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Still0131_00004-3-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"Still0131_00004\" width=\"802\" height=\"451\" data-low-src=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Still0131_00004-3-400x225.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p>This is the oldest one on display, about 90 years old.
