The 24th Myoko Summer Ski Jumping Competition, featuring Japan’s top jumpers and local athletes, will be held on Sunday, September 8 at Akakura Kogen Akakura Shanze in Myoko City, Niigata Prefecture, to show off their dynamic jumps to the sky.<\/p>\r\n

The Myoko Summer Ski Jumping Competition is a competition where Japan’s top jumpers, who are active in the world, compete for distance. The event was held last year for the first time in four years. Among the sponsors are local companies such as Mitaka, the main sponsor, and HIKAKIN, a popular YouTube star from Myoko who has competed in this event himself, is also a personal sponsor.<\/p>\r\n

This year’s event will bring together world-class skaters, including the legendary Noriaki Kasai, who has a brilliant record of eight Olympic appearances and is the oldest World Cup champion, Yuki Ito, who won the World Cup in Sapporo last season, Yukiya Sato, Keiichi Sato, Ryota Yamamoto, and many others.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

In addition, local athletes Aguri Shimizu and Taro Yamakawa, as well as a number of local high school and junior high school students are scheduled to compete.<\/p>\r\n

Food and beverage booths and kitchen cars from local restaurants will be set up at the venue for visitors to enjoy gourmet food and drinks.<\/p>\r\n
