This year&#8217;s growth is going well, and the large yellow flowers are beginning to bloom vigorously.<\/p>\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/GT87EeZXEAA1HSB.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-257965\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/GT87EeZXEAA1HSB-1024x769.jpg\" alt=\"GT87EeZXEAA1HSB\" width=\"800\" height=\"601\" data-low-src=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/GT87EeZXEAA1HSB-400x300.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Friday, August 2<\/p>\r\n<p>Tsunan Sunflower Plaza, located on the Okinohara Plateau in Tsunan Town, is a 4-hectare field where about 500,000 hybrid sunflowers, a variety of ornamental sunflower, are grown, making it a local tourist attraction.<\/p>\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/GT87EWwb0AIHbxh.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-257966\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/GT87EWwb0AIHbxh-1024x769.jpg\" alt=\"GT87EWwb0AIHbxh\" width=\"801\" height=\"602\" data-low-src=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/GT87EWwb0AIHbxh-400x300.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p>According to the executive committee of the plaza, the blooming started around July 17. The three fields are sown about a week apart to allow visitors to appreciate the flowers longer, and the plaza will be open until August 18, after the Bon Festival.
