Yamatogawa Forest Park Takanomine Plateau is a 15-minute drive from the Itoigawa IC on the Hokuriku Expressway, and is located in Yamatogawa, Itoigawa City, which was reopened in 2024.Located at an elevation of 220 meters, the camp site offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the Noto Peninsula in the Sea of Japan and the setting sun, with the magnificent nature of Joshinetsu Kogen National Park in the background. If the weather is fine, one can see Mt. Amakazari, Mt. Yakeyama, Mt. Hiuchi, Mt. Hokoga-dake, and Mt. Kurohime.<\/p>\r\n

The area is large, and you can enjoy camping with a tent on the lawn or relax in a bungalow.<\/p>\r\n
