Fish children (juveniles) are a precious moment in the growth process, as there are many species whose appearance differs from that of fish adults (adults). This special exhibition focuses on juvenile fish and introduces new discoveries about their charms, wonders, and cuteness. The tanks are divided by theme, displaying juvenile fish from the Sea of Japan and Pacific Ocean sides, respectively, as well as those that undergo significant changes in the process of becoming adults from juvenile fish. On May 5 (Sun., national holiday) during Golden Week, an event will be held at a fishing port in Joetsu City where you can actually experience shore-side collecting with Mr. Suzuki.<\/p>\r\n<p>In addition, visitors can enjoy the &#8220;Gasa Gasa Experience Booth,&#8221; where they can enjoy a simulated experience of collecting juvenile shore fishes in a ball pool, a quiz corner, and a quiz rally where visitors can get an original card by visiting the museum. The museum store will offer juvenile fish goods, and the restaurant will have a special menu featuring shirasu.<\/p>\r\n<p>The special exhibition will run for approximately three months.
