The 1,000-meter-high snow resort “Ikarao Kogen Ski Resort” is located on the border between Myoko City, Niigata Prefecture and Iiyama City, Nagano Prefecture.<\/p>\r\n

The 30 courses with a rich variety of courses to enjoy on 100% natural snow are the largest in Japan, and are challenging enough for beginners and families as well as intermediate and advanced skiers.There are also 10 tree run courses through the forest that are as close to nature as possible, where you can enjoy abundant snowfall and excellent powder snow!(Junior:30% Intermediate:35% Senior:35%)\u3002<\/p>\r\n

The slopes include a grooming barn where you can enjoy the conditions first thing in the morning, and a snow park for beginner and intermediate snowboarders where you can enjoy boxes and jumps! The slopes become more steep toward the top of the mountain and less steep as one descends to the foot of the mountain, making the upper slopes popular as powder slopes.<\/p>\r\n

The kids’ park near the entrance is equipped with a moving walkway snow escalator so that they can play without having to walk up the slope.The kids’ park has an indoor kids’ room with playground equipment, so children can play indoors even when the weather is bad.<\/p>\r\n
