Togakushi Ski Resort, located approximately 30 minutes by car from the Shinanomachi Interchange on the Joshinetsu Expressway, will celebrate its 60th anniversary this season.<\/p>\r\n

At an elevation of 1,748 meters, the skiing can be enjoyed while enjoying the view of the majestic Togakushi mountain range. The 19 courses, with some of the best snow quality in Japan and a wide variety of courses, meet the needs of a wide range of skiers from experts to beginners (30% beginner, 40% intermediate, 30% advanced).<\/p>\r\n

The slopes, which straddle the foot of two mountains, Meno and Kenashiyama, offer a wide variety of terrain. From a kids’ park where children can enjoy the snow to beginner courses and advanced courses where skiers can show off their skills on unpressurized snow and bumps, the unique characteristics of the slopes will keep skiers busy.<\/p>\r\n

Each of the four runs at the front of the ski area has its own characteristics and is ideal for practicing on bumps, uneven terrain, and flat terrain. The northern slope makes it easy to ski throughout the day, even in the afternoon, as conditions do not change easily.<\/p>\r\n

At “Alpine Dining Yanagiran” next to the 6th lift station, “venison teriyaki burger” made lavishly with venison is one of the recommended dishes this season. Once you try it, you may become addicted to it.<\/p>\r\n
