The \u201cNidai Shogun Bento\u201d will be released on July 18th, which will include both \u201cTarameshi (cod on rice)\u201dand \u201cSakemeshi(salmon on rice)\u201d.\u00a0 Both lunch boxes were selected for the top prizes in the nationwide ekiben contest.<br \/>\r\n**Ekiben is a lunch box that is sold in train stations. <br \/>\r\n\u00a0 \u00a0 A shogun is a general.<\/p>\r\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-118087\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Still0713_00002.jpg\" alt=\"Still0713_00002\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" data-low-src=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Still0713_00002-400x225.jpg\" \/><\/p>\r\n<p>The ekiben name \u201cNidai Shogun Bento\u201d was named after the highest prize of the ekiben contest sponsored by JR East, \u201cEkiben Daishogun\u201d.\u00a0 Hotel Hi-Mart\u2019s \u201cTarameshi\u201d and \u201cSakemeshi\u201d won the coveted prize in 2012 and 2019 respectively.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-118097\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Still0713_00002-1.jpg\" alt=\"Still0713_00002 (1)\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" data-low-src=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Still0713_00002-1-400x225.jpg\" \/><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>The most popular \u201cSakemeshi\u201d is on the right half and the second most popular \u201ctarameshi\u201d is on the left half of the bento.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p>\u201cSakemeshi\u201d is on the right side of the bento. You can enjoy the fatty salmon flakes and the salmon roe\u2019s delightful texture.<\/p>\r\n<p>On the left side of the bento is \u201cTarameshi\u201d.\u00a0 There are dried sardines, which are cooked softly so that even the bones can be eaten, and roasted cod roe.<\/p>\r\n<p>It\u2019s a gorgeous bento which lives up to its name, in which you can enjoy two flavors at once.<\/p>\r\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-118088\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Still0713_00003.jpg\" alt=\"Still0713_00003\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" data-low-src=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Still0713_00003-400x225.jpg\" \/><\/p>\r\n<p>Mr. Miyamoto of Hotel Hi-Mart said, \u201cThere is no other ekiben that uses dried cod fish. \u00a0The salmon flakes are easy for the elderly to eat. \u00a0We have had customer&#8217;s opinions where they expressed a desire to eat both at once.\u00a0 I wanted to make an ekiben that provides both together in one bento box. \u00a0We will make every effort to make it known to customers not only in the local area, but also all over the country. \u00a0I would like you to enjoy the \u201cNidai Shogun Bento\u201d.<\/p>\r\n<p>The bento is 1,600 yen (tax included).
