The Kijimadaira Ski Resort is a 15-minute drive from Iiyama Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen Line, and a 20-minute drive from the Toyota Iiyama Interchange on the Joshinetsu Expressway.This ski resort spreads out on the northern slopes of the 1351-meter-high Mt. Kosha.<\/p>\r\n

Starting with the Sky Course on the main slope, which stretches out wide, various courses (40% beginner, 40% intermediate, and 20% advanced) can be enjoyed by beginners and advanced skiers alike, all of which are characterized by their spaciousness and relaxed atmosphere. There are also children’s slopes and a sledding course with 800-meter runs, making it a family-friendly ski resort.<\/p>\r\n

The stream course and downhill course for intermediate skiers are fun courses that take advantage of the natural terrain. Snowboarders can enjoy wall sliding, and when there is fresh snow on the ground, you can enjoy great powder skiing. When it snows, the Sawa Course offers natural half-pipe-like banks of non-pressed powder.<\/p>\r\n
