{"id":1098,"date":"2020-03-10T12:21:26","date_gmt":"2020-03-10T03:21:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.yukiguni-journey.jp\/?p=1098"},"modified":"2020-03-12T10:29:58","modified_gmt":"2020-03-12T01:29:58","slug":"new-strawberry-flavored-sake-%ef%bc%88takeda-shuzo-in-ogata-wadr-joetsu-city%ef%bc%89","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yukiguni-journey.jp\/en\/1098\/","title":{"rendered":"New strawberry flavored sake! <br>\uff08Takeda Shuzo in Ogata Ward, Joetsu City\uff09"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>Perfect for spring, enjoy the sweet taste and feel mellow!<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n<p>A long-established sake brewery, Takeda Shuzo, founded in Ogata Ward, Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture in 1866, will launch a unique strawberry-flavored sake from March 10th.<br \/>\r\nSpeaking of Takeda Shuzo, the Japanese sake \u201cKatafune\u201d is famous, but what kind of sake is it?<\/p>\r\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-106255\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Still0305_00008.jpg\" alt=\"Still0305_00008\" width=\"400\" height=\"225\" data-low-src=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Still0305_00008-400x225.jpg\" \/><\/p>\r\n<p>This is the strawberry flavored sake \u201cIchigo Hana\u201d.<br \/>\r\nTakeda Shuzo, located in Ogata Ward, Joetsu, has been developing this product for five years, in collaboration with a farm called \u201cIchigo no Hanakotoba\u201d in the same area.<\/p>\r\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-106248\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Still0305_00001-1.jpg\" alt=\"Still0305_00001\" width=\"400\" height=\"225\" data-low-src=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Still0305_00001-1-400x225.jpg\" \/><\/p>\r\n<p>\u201cIchigo Hana\u201d is a sake-based liqueur. \u00a0The alcohol content is 9%. \u00a0Ripe strawberries are harvested at the farm \u201cIchigo no Hanakotoba\u201d, after which they are dipped in sugar, and then the syrup is extracted. \u00a0Then it is blended with our own brand sake, \u201cKatafune\u201d.<\/p>\r\n<p>The strawberry syrup can only be made once a year, and through trial and error a satisfactory result has been achieved.<\/p>\r\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-106251\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Still0305_00004-2.jpg\" alt=\"Still0305_00004\" width=\"401\" height=\"226\" data-low-src=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Still0305_00004-2-400x225.jpg\" \/><\/p>\r\n<p>Senior Managing Director Takeda said \u201dI took a sample to retail stores and asked customers to drink it.\u00a0 <br \/>\r\nI got a better response from women than men.\u00a0 \u00a0A typical response was: the flavor and taste of strawberries came out, and it was amazing!\u00a0 I thought \u201dOkay! We did it!\u201c<\/p>\r\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-106254\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Still0305_00007.jpg\" alt=\"Still0305_00007\" width=\"401\" height=\"226\" data-low-src=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Still0305_00007-400x225.jpg\" \/><\/p>\r\n<p>Five days prior to its release on March 10th, the products were bottled and labeled. <br \/>\r\nThe packaging is designed to appeal to young women.<\/p>\r\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-106250\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Still0305_00003-1.jpg\" alt=\"Still0305_00003\" width=\"400\" height=\"225\" data-low-src=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Still0305_00003-1-400x225.jpg\" \/><\/p>\r\n<p>Production is limited to 300 bottles, and there are already over 150 reservations.<\/p>\r\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-106253\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joetsu.ne.jp\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Still0305_00006-1.jpg\" alt=\"Still0305_00006\" width=\"401\" height=\"225\" collaboration between Ogata\u2019s strawberry and Ogata\u2019s sake.\u00a0 I want people to know that there are such good things in Ogata Ward.\u00a0 I want as many people as possible to enjoy this drink. \u201c<\/p>\r\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-106252\"
