Reservations\u00a0for the special winter service of the Echigo Tokimeki Railway, Resort Train \u201cSetsugekka\u201d will be accepted from September 1st (Wednesday). \u00a0This train runs in the Joetsu region of Niigata Prefecture.<\/p>\r\n

Setugekka\u00a0is a resort train with one of the largest wide train windows in Japan, so that you can enjoy the natural scenery along the railway line.\u00a0 This train runs between Joetsu, Myoko, and Itoigawa, and operates mainly on weekends and holidays.<\/p>\r\n

This\u00a0special service for this winter is a \u201cCrab Course option\u201d and a \u201cChristmas Course option\u201d which are always well received.<\/p>\r\n

\r\nEnjoy the fresh seafood of Nou Fishing Port, a famous location for Benizuwai crab<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Depart\u00a0Itoigawa Station and stop at Nou Station for about 1 hour. Then travel by bus. Take a tour around \u201cKaniya Yokocho(Crab Market Street)\u201d, a part of Marine Dream Nou, via \u201cNou Fishing Port\u201d. On the Setsugekka Train, you can enjoy Japanese three-tiered dishes made with local seasonal ingredients from the Tsurugiya, a traditional Japanese restaurant in Itoigawa.<\/p>\r\n
