You should turn right onto the road at the Ono intersection on National Route 148, which runs from Itoigawa City, Niigata Prefecture to Hakuba, Nagano Prefecture.\u00a0 The road through the mountain is narrow and long, so if you are new to the mountain, you may be worried you have driven too far. It is free of charge. There is an administration building at the entrance to the campground, but a caretaker is only on duty on Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays and festivals. There are also restrooms near the entrance. The campsites, surrounded by forest, are all grass, and open fires are prohibited.
