The Renge hot spring campground is located near the prefectural border of Nagano and Toyama prefectures at the western end of Niigata prefecture.\u00a0 The altitude is about 1500 meters.\u00a0 It is located in the Chubusangaku National Park centered on the Hida Mountains, and is very close to the trailheads of Niigata\u2019s representative mountains such as Mt. Asahi and Mt. Korenge.\u00a0 This campground is mainly used by climbers.<\/p>\r\n
Renge Hot Springs Lodge<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n The<\/span><\/span>\u00a0reception is at the mountain lodge \u201cRenge Onsen Lodge,\u201d which is the gateway to the Northern Alps from the Niigata prefecture side. \u00a0Please apply in advance by phone.<\/p>\r\n The\u00a0campground is about 600 meters away from the lodge.\u00a0 There is only a parking lot at the lodge, from which you can rent a handcart to carry your luggage.<\/p>\r\n There\u00a0are 35 tent sites, which can be used anywhere there is a vacancy.\u00a0 The ground is grass and some gravel.<\/p>\r\n Toilet<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n There\u00a0are two cooking buildings and two toilets on the campground.\u00a0 Because it is close to the mountain climbing trailhead, many users stay for mountain climbing as well as simply camping.<\/p>\r\n Surrounded\u00a0by forests, you can spend a relaxing time in a quiet environment.\u00a0 If you move to the area around Renge Onsen Lodge, you can get a panoramic view of the magnificent Northern Alps.\u00a0 In addition, you can see the starry sky at night.\u00a0 Of course, you can also enjoy the hot springs at the lodge.
